From Kanha, the journey continues to Pench, a landscape that feels noticeably more open. Here, the pace slows even further. Walking safaris, canoe excursions and boat rides reveal an intimacy with nature that is increasingly rare. Giant trees line quiet forest trails, Malabar Giant Squirrels leap through the canopy and birdlife flourishes along the Denwa River. Finally, your expedition reaches Tadoba. The forests become warmer, bamboo dominates the landscape and every waterhole attracts an astonishing variety of wildlife. Arrive at Jabalpur Airport where our representative will receive you before your drive through the heart of Madhya Pradesh towards Kanha Tiger Reserve. As villages gradually give way to dense forest, anticipation quietly builds for the days ahead.
Following check-in and lunch (subject to arrival time), head into the reserve for your first evening safari. The forest often feels especially peaceful at this hour as herbivores emerge into open meadows and the day’s heat slowly fades. Return to your lodge after sunset for dinner and an overnight stay.
Rise well before dawn and enter Kanha as the forest begins another day. Morning safaris often provide excellent opportunities to observe wildlife at its most active, while the changing light transforms the reserve’s famous meadows into one of India’s most beautiful landscapes.

Later, begin your scenic drive towards Pench Tiger Reserve. Arrive by evening, check into your jungle lodge and enjoy a relaxed evening surrounded by the sounds of the forest.
Today introduces you to the open teak forests of Pench. Explore different safari routes during both morning and evening drives while your naturalist interprets tracks, bird behaviour and the many subtle signs that reveal life within the jungle.
Your final safari in Pench provides another opportunity to enjoy this remarkable landscape before continuing towards Satpura National Park.
Upon arrival, check into your lodge overlooking one of Central India’s most peaceful wildernesses.
Begin the day with one of Satpura’s most unique experiences—a guided walking safari through designated forest trails. Experiencing the jungle on foot heightens every sense, allowing you to appreciate details that are often missed from a vehicle.
Later in the afternoon, continue exploring by jeep as the forest gradually changes character with the setting sun.
This morning offers an entirely different perspective as you explore the tranquil waters of the Denwa River. Waterbirds, Marsh Crocodiles, otters and numerous species of kingfishers are regularly encountered along the riverbanks.
The evening jeep safari completes another unforgettable day within this remarkable reserve.
Following breakfast, depart Satpura and travel towards Tadoba Tiger Reserve.
The changing landscape once again introduces a new ecosystem as bamboo forests gradually replace the towering Sal forests encountered earlier in the journey.
Spend your first full day exploring Tadoba’s famous tiger country. Every safari explores different routes and habitats, increasing opportunities to experience the remarkable diversity of this celebrated reserve.
