Draft for review. Sample policy copy for the prototype — to be finalised with Beyond Wild and legal counsel before launch.
Cancelling a trip
Wildlife travel involves park permits, lodge commitments and expert schedules booked well in advance — so refunds step down as the departure approaches:
| When you cancel | Refund of land package |
|---|---|
| 31 days or more before start | Full refund, minus park permit fees & payment-gateway charges |
| 15–30 days before start | 50% |
| 8–14 days before start | 25% |
| 7 days or less / no-show | No refund |
The fine print that works in your favour
- One free date change on customisable trips when requested 21+ days before start, subject to availability.
- Scheduled departures: your seat is transferable to another person free of charge up to 7 days before departure.
- Park closures or force majeure (forest department orders, natural events): full credit note valid 12 months, or rebooking at no cost.
- If we cancel a departure (e.g. minimum group not met), you receive a full refund including permit fees, or priority rebooking.
What's never refundable
- Safari permits once issued — forest department rules, outside our control.
- Flight tickets booked at actuals (airline rules apply).
- Payment-gateway charges on the refunded amount.
How to cancel
WhatsApp or email us with your booking reference (e.g. BW-2026-TAD-0448). The date we receive your message fixes the refund tier. Refunds follow our Returns & Refunds policy.
