Arrive at Nagpur Airport where you will be welcomed by the Beyond Wild team before beginning the drive to Umred Karhandla Wildlife Sanctuary.
After checking into your jungle resort and enjoying lunch, prepare for your first safari.
Depending on the latest wildlife updates, your opening drive will explore either the Gothangaon or Karhandla range. Every safari is carefully planned using the most recent information available, allowing us to position ourselves where wildlife activity has been most promising.
Return to the resort after sunset for dinner and overnight stay.
The day begins early, when the forest is at its quietest and wildlife activity is already underway.
No two days in Umred unfold in quite the same way.
Rather than following a fixed routine, each safari is planned around the latest developments inside the sanctuary.
Fresh pugmarks, alarm calls, recent sightings and forest intelligence all help shape the day's programme.
Whenever conditions allow, we spend as much time as possible exploring the Gothangaon landscape, where F2 and her cubs have created some of Central India's most memorable wildlife moments.
Between drives, return to the lodge to rest and enjoy a leisurely meal before heading out again later in the day.
With another full day in the wilderness, there is time to explore beyond the most familiar routes and follow fresh signs of animal movement.
Watching cubs grow, learn and gradually become independent offers a intriguing insight into the lives of wild tigers.
If activity shifts elsewhere, Karhandla presents an equally rewarding alternative, with beautiful forests, quiet roads and excellent opportunities to encounter Tigers, Leopards, Sloth Bears and Gaur.
Between safaris, return to the lodge for leisurely meals and time to relax before heading back into the forest.
The quieter hours between safaris are best spent relaxing at the resort and absorbing the atmosphere of the surrounding wilderness.
Enjoy one final safari before returning to the resort for breakfast.
