This morning, visit the picturesque village of Chitkul, the last inhabited village near the Indo-Tibet border and often regarded as one of the most beautiful villages in Himachal Pradesh.
Stroll along the Baspa River, admire the traditional wooden houses and take in the pristine mountain scenery before continuing to Kalpa.
Arrive in Kalpa by afternoon and enjoy breathtaking views of the majestic Kinner Kailash Range, particularly spectacular during sunset.

Today's drive marks your entry into the dramatic landscapes of Spiti Valley.
Travel through rugged mountain terrain, passing the tranquil Nako Lake and the charming village of Nako before continuing to Tabo Monastery, one of the oldest functioning Buddhist monasteries in the Himalayas and often called the "Ajanta of the Himalayas" for its remarkable murals and ancient artwork.

After breakfast, visit the spectacular Dhankar Monastery, dramatically perched atop a rocky cliff overlooking the confluence of the Spiti and Pin Rivers.
