Travel through the rugged landscapes of Drass and visit the Kargil War Memorial, a poignant tribute to the courage and sacrifice of Indian soldiers. Cross some of the region's most celebrated mountain passes, including Zoji La, Fotu La and Khardung La, each offering breathtaking panoramas and a remarkable sense of scale. As the landscape transforms from green valleys to stark, high-altitude deserts, discover the distinctive beauty and cultural richness of Ladakh.
Explore ancient Buddhist monasteries perched dramatically on rocky hillsides, where colourful prayer flags flutter in the mountain breeze and centuries-old traditions remain an integral part of everyday life. Continue into the enchanting Nubra Valley, a remarkable landscape of barren mountains, fertile villages and sweeping sand dunes. Visit Hunder, famous for its double-humped Bactrian camels, and venture further to Turtuk, a picturesque border village celebrated for its fascinating Balti heritage, traditional stone houses and apricot orchards.
The journey reaches another spectacular highlight at Pangong Lake, where extraordinary shades of blue stretch beneath a dramatic backdrop of rugged Himalayan peaks. Spend time admiring its pristine beauty and ever-changing colours, among the most captivating sights in the region. En route, discover the intriguing Magnetic Hill and witness the spectacular confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers, where two mighty Himalayan rivers meet amidst an imposing mountain landscape.
Combining breathtaking mountain scenery, remarkable cultural encounters, historic landmarks and some of the world's highest motorable roads, this journey offers a wonderful exploration of Ladakh and Kashmir. From the tranquil shores of Dal Lake to the remote valleys and turquoise waters of Pangong, every stage reveals a different facet of the extraordinary Himalayan world.
Upon arrival at Srinagar Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel or traditional houseboat.
Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a relaxing Shikara ride on the famous Dal Lake, where colourful houseboats, floating gardens and the surrounding Himalayan peaks create one of Kashmir's most iconic landscapes. You may also explore the lively local markets, renowned for their handicrafts, saffron and Pashmina shawls.

After breakfast, begin your journey towards Ladakh via the breathtaking Srinagar–Leh Highway.
Cross the famous Zoji La Pass, the dramatic gateway between Kashmir and Ladakh, before continuing through Drass, often regarded as one of the coldest inhabited places on Earth. Visit the Kargil War Memorial, dedicated to the brave soldiers who fought during the 1999 Kargil conflict.
Continue through beautiful mountain landscapes before arriving in Kargil for the evening.

Approx. Drive: 220 km | 6–7 Hours
Today's drive is one of the most scenic sections of the journey.
Visit the magnificent Mulbekh Buddha, an ancient rock-carved statue dating back to the 8th century. Continue over Namika La and Fotu La, the highest point on the Srinagar–Leh Highway, before stopping at the spectacular Lamayuru Monastery, one of Ladakh's oldest and most picturesque monasteries, surrounded by the famous "Moonland" landscape.
Further along the route, witness the fascinating Magnetic Hill, visit Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, and admire the stunning confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers before arriving in Leh.

Today is reserved for acclimatization while exploring Leh's cultural treasures.
Visit the peaceful Shanti Stupa, offering panoramic views of Leh and the surrounding mountains. Continue to the historic Leh Palace, followed by the Hall of Fame Museum, which showcases the region's military history and the Indian Army's role in protecting Ladakh.
Spend the evening exploring Leh Market, where you'll find charming cafés, traditional handicrafts and Tibetan souvenirs.

Approx. Drive: 130 km | 5–6 Hours
After breakfast, drive across the legendary Khardung La Pass, one of the world's highest motorable roads, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding Himalayan ranges.
Descend into the beautiful Nubra Valley, where lush villages contrast dramatically with the rugged mountains and high-altitude cold desert.
Visit the famous Hunder Sand Dunes, where you may enjoy an optional ride on the unique double-humped Bactrian Camels, descendants of those that once travelled the ancient Silk Route.
Overnight: Nubra Valley
After breakfast, enjoy a full-day excursion to the picturesque border village of Turtuk, one of India's northernmost settlements and among the last villages before the Line of Control with Pakistan.
Home to the Balti people, Turtuk offers a fascinating blend of culture, history and natural beauty. Stroll through its narrow lanes, visit traditional stone houses, apricot orchards and enjoy magnificent views of the Karakoram Range while learning about the village's unique heritage.
Return to Nubra Valley by evening after one of Ladakh's most memorable excursions.

Approx. Drive: 180 km | 6–7 Hours
Leave Nubra Valley behind as you journey towards the world-famous Pangong Lake, travelling through spectacular high-altitude landscapes and remote mountain valleys.
Stretching across India and Tibet, Pangong Lake is renowned for its crystal-clear blue waters that constantly change colour throughout the day.
Spend the evening walking along the lakeshore, soaking in the tranquillity of this extraordinary Himalayan setting.

Approx. Drive: 160 km | 5–6 Hours
Wake early to witness sunrise over Pangong Lake before beginning the scenic drive back to Leh via the impressive Chang La Pass, one of the highest mountain passes in the region.
Upon arrival in Leh, enjoy a relaxed evening exploring local cafés or shopping for souvenirs.

Today, discover some of Ladakh's finest monasteries and cultural landmarks.
Visit the magnificent Thiksey Monastery, renowned for its impressive hilltop setting and towering statue of Maitreya Buddha. Continue to Shey Palace, the former summer residence of Ladakh's royal family, before visiting the famous Hemis Monastery, the largest and wealthiest monastery in the region.
Return to Leh for your final evening.
