Kaziranga is unlike any other wildlife destination in India.

As you leave the city behind, the landscape gradually changes into rolling tea estates, traditional Assamese villages and fertile floodplains that provide the perfect introduction to North East India.
After arriving at your wildlife resort and enjoying lunch, prepare for your first safari.
The afternoon is often a wonderful time to explore Kaziranga. Warm golden light spreads across the grasslands as rhinos emerge to graze, elephants move towards the wetlands and countless birds become active before sunset.
Return to the resort for dinner and overnight stay
The day begins early, when the forest is at its quietest and wildlife activity is already underway.

Across the next two days, your safaris take you through a intriguing variety of habitats, from towering elephant grass and open floodplains to woodland patches, marshes and shallow wetlands alive with birdlife.
Each range has its own personality.
Some are famous for large concentrations of rhinoceros, while others offer excellent opportunities to observe Wild Buffalo, elephants or the reserve's striking birdlife.
Between drives, return to the lodge to rest and enjoy a leisurely meal before heading out again later in the day.
With another full day in the wilderness, there is time to explore beyond the most familiar routes and follow fresh signs of animal movement.
Throughout the journey, the towering Himalayas occasionally appear on the distant horizon, providing a spectacular backdrop to the floodplains below.
The changing landscapes ensure that every game drive brings fresh opportunities and new discoveries.
Sometimes the most memorable moments come from watching a mother rhino with her calf, a herd of Wild Buffalo emerging through the mist or hundreds of waterbirds taking flight together across a marsh at sunrise.
