From the land of the fierce Maasai, comes one of the greatest wildlife experiences in the world. Made famous by innumerable documentaries, films and books and immortalized by the most iconic animated film of all time, 'The Lion King', Tanzania warrants no introduction! It is, quite simply, the greatest and most elite wildlife destination on the planet!
This week-long safari, expertly guided by Beyond Wild's wildlife mentors, takes us to the enchanting Serengeti, the thrilling Ngorongoro and the magical Manyara, three of Tanzania's most popular reserves!
Aptly named by the Maasai as Serengeti, it truly justifies its name as “a place where the land runs on forever”. The iconic land of the Serengeti never ends! Thrilling encounters with Africa’s finest animals in the vast savannah grasslands is truly an experience no wildlife enthusiast should miss! Housing Africa’s largest population of lions, Serengeti National Park is one of the best places for a sneak peek into the lives of these majestic big cats. Many leopards, cheetahs and other animals shall complete your African experience!
We also visit the Lake Manyara National Park, and try our hand at spotting some of the numerous avian species the park is known for. With almost 390 documented bird species in the park, it is truly a birdwatcher’s paradise!
Surrounding a volcanic caldera, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is one of the most unique wildlife destinations in the world. A World Heritage Site, it is the planet's largest inactive, intact and unfilled volcanic crater. Forming a natural enclosure for the numerous mammalian species in the park, Ngorongoro will leave you awestruck!
This short yet thrilling safari will end soon, but the memories of the African dream shall live on forever!Read Less

Kenya is a land of unexplored and raw beauty that can stun anyone into an awestruck silence. The never-ending savannahs stretching beyond the horizon contain every colour from a painter`s palette, every shred of imagination of a writer, every punctuation of a poet and every dream of any person. The skies and the land marry in perfect unison and vow to take care of all those who roam freely between them. The wildlife is the lucky child that turns everyone else into the deepest shade of green, with envy.
As the day gives way to night, which in turn steps aside for the day, the infinite beauty and wilderness continues to enchant us forever, without getting tired. Being among the most exquisite and untouched places on earth, the experience that Kenya generously offers you is priceless.
As part of this beautiful experience, we stay at beautiful lodges and camps right in the heart of the Maasai Mara, where lions roam and elephants trumpet in gay abandon! This is Africa that you have always seen on the television, raw, pristine and wild!
On this very special and exclusive tour, we shall be doing full-day safaris in the iconic Mara bush with special off road permits*. Our vehicles would be the very exclusive ‘Open Land-cruisers’ which are very few in number in the Mara, you will feel special! These vehicles make you live the iconic African bush and feel truly ‘into the wild’ but also give you a huge heads up for photography. We are proud to have them for our personal safari use in the Mara!
Since Mihir is personally leading the tour, you can rest assured about the intensity on the field, we shall do our level best to get the images that you have always dreamed of – be it the male lion in golden light or the family of cheetahs on the prowl, leopard up an acacia or lion cubs playing with their mother! The Mara usually does not disappoint! Even if you are not a photographer, do not mind, the experience is sure to blow your mind off!
We stay at the legendary Keekorok Lodge for 2 nights, not the most luxurious but very comfortable with probably the best location in the reserve, from where the famed Sarova, Sopa, Talek, Mara river and Sand river areas can be easily accessed (usually not more than 45 minutes of driving)! The next two nights would be at a very intimate camp close to the river, you will know why!
November is when the grass is at its shortest and animals are seen in crystal clear backgrounds and foregrounds, sans the massive Migration period crowds!
Join us on this once-in-a-lifetime safari and let the Africa of your dreams materialize in front of your very eyes.Read Less

South Africa's landscapes are stunning, from the burning Karoo and Kalahari semideserts to the misty heights of the Drakensberg range and the massive Blyde River Canyon. Even in urban Cape Town, you need only look up to see the beautiful fynbos (indigenous flora) climbing the slopes of Table Mountain, while nearby, two of the world's most dramatic coastal roads lead to Cape Point and Hermanus. Add the vineyards carpeting the Cape Winelands, old-growth forests along the Garden Route, wrinkly mountain ranges from the Cederberg to the Swartberg, and Indian Ocean beaches, and there's a staggering variety to enjoy.
South Africa is considered one of the best road trip destinations in the world and it is not difficult to see why. From the sunny small towns of the Western Cape and dusty outback of the Northern Cape, to the mystical boondocks of Mpumalanga, roads are the lifeline of the country.
They connect glittering cities with small towns that sizzle in the desert heat and sea-sprayed coastlines where salt hangs heavy in the air with fragrant pine forests and rocky mountains.
And while some roads stretch for kilometres towards mysterious horizons, others end after a few short metres at a rickety gate with a “PRIVATE PROPERTY” sign on a lonesome pasture.
These roads offer incredible chances to explore unknown towns and experience the soul of the country at your own pace with the windows down and your feet on the dashboard.
So, compile a kickass playlist, pile your bags, family, friends, and get ready to explore some of the best road trips in South Africa.
With many years of on-field experience, reputed guides and mentors from South Africa and some of the best lodges and homestays tied up with us, look no further than Beyond Wild to help you craft the most perfect South African raodtrip of your dreams!Read Less
