Overview

We will explore the gates and zones with the best tiger movement.

Tadoba covers a very large area and can be accessed from different gates. Tiger movement is exceptional in all the zones of the reserve thanks to its phenomenal tiger density. We will extensively explore both its core and buffers, being based out of Kolara and Mohurli.

Tigers sightings in Kanha have been nothing short of spectacular thanks to its resident tigresses with cubs and a few iconic dominant males. We will be exploring both the Kanha and Mukki zones to maximize our opportunities of sightings.

We have decided to concentrate only on these two tiger reserves to optimize the time spent on site. We will minimize the transfers in order to spend as much time as possible following tiger movement!

Day 1

Arrive in Nagpur - Drive to Tadoba - Evening Jungle Safari

(You are requested to reach Nagpur anytime till 9:30 am. The convenient timings will be mailed once we start communication regarding the tour).

Our favourite team of drivers would receive you at the airport / railway station, serve you hot breakfast but before long we would be on the highway to Tadoba. Post check-in, we have lunch and without further ado, step into our wildlife attire and go for the first of our 13 jungle safaris. This would be a fantastic introduction to Tadoba and if luck is on our side, we will get our first Tiger today! The beauty of this great reserve and the astounding variety of mammals would fill your heart with joy, and cameras with images! After the safari, as our friends at the lodge serve you piping hot tea and coffee, our experts would do what they are best at - conduct a fun-filled but extremely informative session about Tadoba and its many animals. Over dinner, we have an informal talk about the nuances and tricks of wildlife photography, for the next three days do require you to be at your best!

Day 2, 3 & 4

Overnight in Tadoba

We shall undertake six safaris in Tadoba over these three days. Based on the sightings over the last few days and areas where cubs are currently found, we shall focus our attention there and spend a greater time in tracking tigers around those hotspots. Tadoba's core and buffer together harbor more than a hundred tigers and our endeavour would not only be to see as many as possible but spend quality time with them, while making some cherished images of this most iconic of nature's creations. Nights would be dedicated to wildlife sessions, quizzes and night trails! We will shift once from Kolara to Mohurli area.

Day 5

Morning safari Tadoba. Drive to Kanha

After one last safari in Tadoba, we drive to Kanha and check in in our hotel. Overnight at Kanha. An early dinner would send you into your warm beds.

Day 6 & 7

Morning and afternoon safari Kanha.

We spend two more days in the jungle and in process undertake four jungle drives. We shall explore all the famed tiger areas such as the Kanha meadows, the Sonph maidans, the hills of Digdola and Salghat, the ponds near Kisli and the iconic region east of Kisli, the happening Mukki zone with Umarpani, Dhawajhandi and many other legendary tigers. Our drives and guides would give their very best to give you the experience you came to this legendary jungle for. After a hard days' of safaring through those bumpy jungle paths, we come back to the resort for a steaming hot cuppa, some games, some sessions and a lot of fun!

Day 8

Morning safari - Drive back to Nagpur - Tour ends.

(You are requested to board any flight/train after 7 pm.)

After one last safari in this fabled jungle, we come back for farewell lunch before heading toward Nagpur. Long handshakes and warm hugs later, we part ways for the time-being, but the many pictures and memories would keep us together for a long time.

Exclusions

1. Any air fare or rail fare.

2. All Govt. Taxes as applicable.

3. Personal expenses like laundry, soft drinks, hard drinks, mineral water, internet and telephone charges, etc.

4. Camera fees (200/- per camera with lens of 250 mm or above per safari in Tadoba – subject to change). The camera fee is compulsory in Tadoba. It has to be paid at the gate and it applies to each guest carrying a camera.

5. Anything not mentioned in the list of ‘Inclusions’.

Travel to and fro Nagpur:

Booking Procedure

A 50% advance amount and a recognized Government Identity card (Aadhar, Pancard, Driver's License, OCI, Passport, Voter's ID, Government Employee's ID, school/College ID) would all do for Indian nationals.

For non Indian nationals, only Passport is allowed. IDs should be scanned and mailed at camilla.malvestiti@gmail.com or alternatively WhatsApp at 07827408095.

Cancellation - Refund (On Tour Cost)

If cancellation is communicated 10 days (or less) before departure OR No Show - No Refund.
If cancellation is communicated 20 to 11 days before departure - 20% of tour cost refunded.
If cancellation is communicated 30 to 21 days before departure - 40% of tour cost refunded.
If cancellation is communicated 30 to 59 days before departure - 60% of tour cost refunded.
If cancellation is communicated 60 days (or more) before departure - 80% of tour cost refunded.
If cancellation is communicated 120 days (or more) before departure - Full Refund.
