Overview

From the land of the fierce Maasai, comes one of the greatest wildlife experiences in the world. Made famous by innumerable documentaries, films and books and immortalized by the most iconic animated film of all time, 'The Lion King', Tanzania warrants no introduction! It is, quite simply, the greatest and most elite wildlife destination on the planet! 

This week-long safari, expertly guided by Beyond Wild's wildlife mentors, takes us to the enchanting Serengeti, the thrilling Ngorongoro and the magical Manyara, three of Tanzania's most popular reserves!

Aptly named by the Maasai as Serengeti, it truly justifies its name as “a place where the land runs on forever”. The iconic land of the Serengeti never ends! Thrilling encounters with Africa’s finest animals in the vast savannah grasslands is truly an experience no wildlife enthusiast should miss! Housing Africa’s largest population of lions, Serengeti National Park is one of the best places for a sneak peek into the lives of these majestic big cats. Many leopards, cheetahs and other animals shall complete your African experience!

We also visit the Lake Manyara National Park and try our hand at spotting some of the numerous avian species the park is known for. With almost 390 documented bird species in the park, it is truly a birdwatcher’s paradise!

Surrounding a volcanic caldera, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is one of the most unique wildlife destinations in the world. A World Heritage Site, it is the planet's largest inactive, intact and unfilled volcanic crater. Forming a natural enclosure for the numerous mammalian species in the park, Ngorongoro will leave you awestruck!

This short yet thrilling safari will end soon, but the memories of the African dream shall live on forever!

Day 1
Arrive in Tanzania, drive to Manyara

Upon our arrival at the Kilimanjaro airport, we have breakfast following which we drive to Manyara, an enchanting wetland housing a myraid of waterbirds and other animals! We enjoy an evening gamedrive at the Lake Manyara National Park.

Day 2
Manyara to Serengeti

After breakfast you, we will go on a morning game drive at Manyara. Once the drive is concluded, we take packed lunch and proceed toward the Serengeti. Upon arrival, we do a short game drive in the world's most famous wildlife reserve in the evening!

Day 3
Full day gamedrive in the Serengeti

We explore the vast Savannahs of the Serengeti a dusk to dawn safari today. This iconic land of the Serengeti is the Africa of our dreams! Live it!

Day 4
Drive to Ngorongoro (full day gamedrive)

After breakfast, we will do a gamedrive in Serengeti (with packed lunch) on our way to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. After exploring the Serengeti for 3 days, we make our way towards the Ngorongoro crater, a naturally formed caldera housing the highest carnivore density in Africa. This 260 sq. km crater has a staggering diversity of mammals and birds, with extraordinary moments like chases, kills, mating not uncommon! Ngorongoro is the ultimate African safari! 

Day 5
Full day gamedrive in the Ngorongoro

After breakfast you will descend into the crater for a full day game drive with packed lunch. The sheet density of lions and other animals in this caldera would make your head go dizzy with wonderment! Ngorongoro is magic!

Day 6
Drive back to Kilimanjaro

After a morning game drive and breakfast you will proceed to Kilimanjaro International Airport via Arusha for lunch

Booking Amount: 50% of the tour cost

Inclusions

  1.  Airport transfers and drop and return to the Kilimanjaro airport by well equipped safari landcruisers.
  2. Accommodation for 5 nights in Tanzania on full board basis (3 meals a day) in well appointed rooms at resorts inside the reserves.
  3. Full day/half day specially guided game drives as mentioned in the itinerary in the safari vehicles.
  4. Services of our best safari drivers cum guides who come with years of experience.
  5. Expert guidance and routes chosen to optimize animal viewing and photography.
  6. Daily 1 liter mineral water per person.
  7. Park entrance fees for the reserves for all days.
  8. WIFI on safari.
  9. Services of a Beyond Wild wildlife mentor on tour.

Exclusions

  1. Accommodation in Arusha if required.
  2. E-Visa (Around 50 USD per person for Indians).
  3. Yellow Fever (300 INR per person), Polio which is free.
  4. Tips and gratuities for the entire tour (around 80-100 USD per person).
  5. Extra meals, beverages, laundry, telephone, etc.
  6. Flights.
  7. Anything not mentioned under ‘Inclusions’.

Travel to and fro Nairobi:

While the travel upto Kilimanjaro/Arusha on Day 1 and travel from Kilimanjaro/Arusha on Day 6 is extra, we can assist you to book the transport or book it for you. Booking Procedure

Balance can be paid up to a month before departure.

Please note: Costs remain same for Indian and non Indian nationals.

Cancellation - Refund (On Tour Cost)

  • If cancellation is communicated 10 days (or less) before departure OR No Show - No Refund.
  • If cancellation is communicated 20 to 11 days before departure - 20% of tour cost refunded.
  • If cancellation is communicated 30 to 21 days before departure - 40% of tour cost refunded.
  • If cancellation is communicated 30 to 59 days before departure - 60% of tour cost refunded.
  • If cancellation is communicated 60 days (or more) before departure - 80% of tour cost refunded.
  • If cancellation is communicated 120 days (or more) before departure - Full Refund.
