Overview

Through the thick winter's mist emerges a shape which slowly transforms into the most aesthetically wondrous creation of nature. As the shape takes form and substance, you are left in bewilderment for its beauty and charisma makes you forget everything else. As the tiger fills all your senses with incomparable joy and as adrenaline flows merrily through your body, you know you have just enjoyed the most singular experience of seeing a tiger in Kanha's enchanting wilds. Your heart is one with Kanha's, forever.

But, Pench is different story all together. A magical land which, more than a century ago, inspired Kipling to pen his life’s greatest work, & probably, one of the finest pieces of literature penned on Indian wildlife, the jungle of Pench still holds the essence and the aura of ‘The Jungle Book’. Legendary tigresses with cubs, extremely bold and beautiful leopards regally sitting atop big, black boulders which dot the mixed deciduous forests and a fabulous variety of animals and birds makes Pench a brilliant experience overall.

What to expect in Kanha?

Our expert team of naturalists, drivers and forest guides would constantly search for tell-tale signs of the tiger's whereabouts, and our knowledge of the jungle byways, individual tigers' habits and habitats, movements during the last safari would greatly increase your chances of seeing a tiger. While we keep all our six senses open to detect the tiger, we waste no time in educating you with all that we know of this fabled landscape. We shall try our luck with the sloth bears who feed on termites, the leopards who have mastered stealth and secrecy like no other Big Cat, the glorious Barasingha wandering the iconic meadows with joy and the myriad of other birds and mammals which inhabit this ultimate land of the wild. The 4 day experience would open your eyes to something new, something grand, something eternal.

What to expect in Pench?

The neighbouring safari zones from Pench Maharashtra are having great sightings. Our team of naturalists and guides would take you to a zone as per the sightings. We would, more often than not, know where the big cats are and where the sightings should happen! Such is the beauty, such is the aura, such is the charm of this forest! The white sands of Saatmod and the densely forested hills of Patdev await you!

Day 1
Drive Nagpur to Kanha-Jungle Safari-Overnight at Kanha.

Reach Nagpur by 9 am. On our arrival in Nagpur in the morning, we have a sumptuous breakfast before driving to Kanha (4 hours). After freshening up, some relaxation and orientation, we go for an evening safari. After 4 splendid hours in the jungle, where we search for the tiger and other attractions and enjoy the magnificent beauty all around, we return to the resort for some rest and dinner. Overnight in Kanha. 

Day 2
Morning and Evening Jungle Safaris-Overnight in Kanha.

We spend another day in the jungle and in process undertake two jungle drives. We shall explore all the famed tiger areas such as the Kanha meadows, the Sonph maidans, the hills of Digdola and Salghat, the ponds near Kisli and the iconic region east of Kisli, the happening Mukki zone with Chota Munna, Dhawajhandi and many other legendary tigers. Our drives and guides would give their very best to give you the experience you came to this legendary jungle for. After a hard days' of safaring through those bumpy jungle paths, we come back to the resort for a steaming hot cuppa, some games, some sessions and a lot of fun!

Day 3
Morning Safari Kanha-Drive to Pench-Evening Safari in Pench.

After one last safari in this fabled jungle, we come back for lunch and proceed towards Pench for the evening safari.

Day 4 & 5
Morning and Evening Safaris Pench-Drive to Nagpur.

We shall go on three more safaris in the enthralling Pench jungle. Leopards, jackals, wild dogs and of course the tiger would be on our tracking-list today! Drive to Nagpur after the morning safari on Day 5.

Exclusions

  1. Any air fare or rail fare.

Booking Procedure

A 50% advance amount and a recognized Government Identity card (Aadhar, Pancard, Driver's License, OCI, Passport, Voter's ID, Government Employee's ID, school/College ID would all do for Indian nationals.

Cancellation - Refund (On Tour Cost)

  • If cancellation is communicated 10 days (or less) before departure OR No Show - No Refund.
  • If cancellation is communicated 20 to 11 days before departure - 20% of tour cost refunded.
  • If cancellation is communicated 30 to 21 days before departure - 40% of tour cost refunded.
  • If cancellation is communicated 30 to 59 days before departure - 60% of tour cost refunded.
  • If cancellation is communicated 60 days (or more) before departure - 80% of tour cost refunded.
  • If cancellation is communicated 120 days (or more) before departure - Full Refund.
