    Kenya Migration

    Kenya Migration

Kenya is a land of unexplored and raw beauty that can stun anyone into an awestruck silence. The never-ending savannahs stretching beyond the horizon contain every colour from a painter`s palette, every shred of imagination of a writer, every punctuation of a poet and every dream of any person. The skies and the land marry in a perfect unison and vow to take care of all those who roam freely between them. The wildlife is the lucky child that turns everyone else into the deepest shade of green, with envy.

The Kenyan dream consists of a visit to the famed Lake Nakuru, renowned for the vast congregations of flamingos that line its shore and its abundance of the big cats! Samburu houses some truly unique animals endemic to its plains. We visit the world famous Masai Mara, the home of the Africa`s legendary Big Five and arguably, the world`s most complete game reserve! We visit the Sweetwater`s Tented Camp in the Ol Pejeta Conservancy famous for it`s various endangered species.

As the day gives way to night, which in turn steps aside for the day, the infinite beauty and wilderness continues to go on, without getting tired. Being amongst the most exquisite and untouched places on earth, the experience that Kenya generously offers you is priceless.

The Kenyan Wildebeest Migration is an astounding example of a natural cycle that impart lessons of life, death, struggle, survival and celebration of a fight. Every year, at Massai Mara, the grasslands of East Africa are replenished and renewed. As they are on their dying path, around 1.3 million wildebeest gather into a single herd and migrate to East Africa, until their withered supply of fresh green grass is replenished. They migrate in a single herd and the whole experience is staggering.  Words will fall short to justify the surreal nature of this episode.

You get to witness the age old statement - Survival of the fittest, right here during the migration. As the wildebeest move across the land and water, they fight with the lions and crocodiles that quietly wait for the herd to arrive. The wrath of the rivers drowns many or separates them from the herd and only the fittest make it to their destination. It is an extraordinary sensory experience, when the earth trembles under the feet of a million wildebeest, the air is saturated with the grunts of their voices and the endless beauty of the open wilderness, grey rivers and merciless horizon.  A lot of lessons and wisdom is imparted and unbelievable is given a new meaning. As the herd migrate back to the grasslands after a few months, an epic journey of a lifetime is celebrated by stepping into their replenished home again. You need to see this to believe it!

We visit some of Kenya`s other renowned game - rich areas like the Nakuru National Park and Mt. Kenya National Park.

Join us on this once-in-a-lifetime safari and let the Africa of your dreams materialize in front of your very eyes.
